BELAS KNAP LONG BARROW

A particularly fine example of a Neolithic long barrow of c.3800 BC, featuring a false entrance and side chambers. During excavations in the 1860s, the remains of 31 people were found in the chambers.

St Lawrence's is a friendly welcoming church in the Cotswold village of Bourton on the Water. Bourton on the Water attracts many visitors and all are welcome into our church which is open daily.
In usual times, there are a Tuesday lunch club, a communion service each Wednesday morning at 10.30am and our toddler group meet in the church on a Thursday morning.
